Ueda slowly opened his eyes. He blinked several time. His cornea was still adjusting the new light due to his long deep sleep. His mind was still trying to put everything together. Remembering what happen.

Why is he lying in a strange room? What is this light? What is this pain? Where is he? And what’s that sound calling his name?

“Ueda!Ueda!” Ryo kept calling Ueda’s name hoping the other will soon regain his consciousness completely. “Are you okay?”

“Ummm……who are you?” Ueda asked in a lethargic voice.

“What? You don’t remember me? Have you got amnesia?” Ryo started to panic. The worst did somehow happen. He moved his head closer to Ueda

“It’s me…Ryo! Don’t you remember me? Don’t you remember who you are? Don’t you remember what happened?” Ryo’s face got closer and closer and closer until it was only an inch close to Ueda’s.

Suddenly Ueda screamed “Kyaaa…! Nishikido!”

Ryo jumped back and almost nock his head

“Fuck princess! You don’t have to yell! Are you trying to get back at me or something? Try to make me gone deaf?” Somehow Ryo wished Ueda did get amnesia.

“What are you doing here? Where am I?” Ueda asked confusingly.

“You’re in the hospital! A brought you here…since…well you know…that night” Ryo answered, rubbing his ear tried to make the pain go away.

“That night……..” Ueda remembered the scene where he saw Ryo just stood there in the street while two pair of lights coming closer toward him. He remembered calling Ryo’s name. He remembered pushing Ryo to the other side of the road. But he couldn’t remember what happened next.

“I remember…there was a car…you…Oh my God! Are you okay? Did the car hit you?” Ueda panicked

Ryo couldn’t believe his ear.

Ueda is panicking over him? Didn’t he remember what happen after he pushed Ryo? Didn’t he see himself? He’s he who is in a hospital bed, bandages all over his body, and he still asking whether HE is ok?

 “Don’t you remember? You…you…save my life”

“I did?” Ueda almost couldn’t believe Ryo’s word, until he looked down at himself. He was on the hospital bed. Bandages were all over his body. He started to feel some pain in his body.

 It hurts. So the car hit ME?

“Yea…you kinda did….umm” Ryo wanted to say sorry and thank you, but somehow those words didn’t come out of his mouth.

There was a weird air between them, and for a couple of minute both of them didn’t say a word.

“So..umm…I better call the doctor and tell him that you’ve awaken” Ryo turned his body and went out of Ueda’s room.

“Ooh God my head…..” Ueda’s suddenly felt a major pain in his head

Couple of minutes later Ryo returned with the so called doctor.

“Welcome back Ueda-kun” The doctor approached Ueda. He came close beside Ueda’s bed. And start doing something.

“I see you’ve regained your consciousness. But I need to do some more tests. Just to makes sure. Nishikido-kun I have to ask you to give us some privacy”

“Okay...” Ryo hesitantly walked out of the room

For about half an hour Ryo waited at the hospital cafeteria. NOW he’s felling hungry. After he ate couple of things and started to feel full, decided to go back to see if the doctor had finished checking Ueda.

It’s been half an hour I’m sure he’s finished. Ryo thought.

So he headed back to Ueda’s room. But the curtain was still closed. The doctor was not finished yet. He wanted to go back to the cafeteria until he heard something…

“You cannot fell this?” The voice of the doctor was heard.

“Umm…no..” Ueda’s sounded worried

“How about the other one. Can you feel this?” Again the doctor touched Ueda’s left leg.

“That I can feel. But my right leg, I cannot” Ueda’s voice started to trembling.

“Hmm…..let me have another look….” The doctor was about to do something with Ueda’s leg when he heard the curtain suddenly opened.

“What do you mean you cannot fell your leg? Doctor! What’s going on?” Ryo just barged in and yell at both Ueda and the doctor.

“Nishikido!” Ueda surprised with the sudden presence of Ryo

“Relax Nishikido-kun. I still don’t know what happen yet. It’s probably nothing, a post traumatic thing maybe. I will still need to do some test, also with the other doctors. So while I do that can you please just wait outside? We will let you know when we’re done” The doctor then called the other team using the intercom next to Ueda’s bed.

Ryo waited for almost one hour outside Ueda’s room. The team of doctors was doing some what they called tests with Ueda. FINALLY one of the doctors came out.

Ryo rushed to see the doctor.

“So? What happen? It’s nothing right? It’s just post-something thing right? He’s fine right? Tell me dammit!” Ryo sure is an impatient little guy.

Well this guy is rude. “Ano…We’ve run couple of tests, and apparently some nerves at Ueda’s right leg had been cut. Thus Ueda-kun wont be able to use his leg like he used to” the doctor tried to explain in the most simplest way

“You mean…he…he cant…” Ryo couldn’t finished his word

“I’m sorry, we’ve tried our best”

Ryo just froze with the doctors words. Ryo’s been freezing a lot lately. Its becoming a habit ^_^

After finished talking, the doctor allowed him to see Ueda. He walked nervously inside the room. Ueda acknowledged him and smile.

“Ueda….I….” Ryo didn’t know what to say

“He told you didn’t he? The doctor? Well…I guess I would just have to accept it. It’s okay really” Ueda tried to sounds tough.

 “But how about…well…would you be able to perform again?” Ryo’s chest suddenly felt that pain again. That guilty felling he felt before Ueda woke up.

“Well….I don’t know. But its okay. I can still sing in the wheelchair, like that famous person. What was his name? Who knows maybe I’ll be more popular?” Ueda grinned.

Ryo didn’t say a word. He felt dead already. If not he just might kill himself. It’s all because of him. Ueda had been hit by a car. He had been in a coma for days. Ueda won’t be able to walk anymore. It’s all because of him…..

Hehehehe…I have to stop again. I just love stopping in the middle ^_^ *runaway and hide*

At least I didn’t update THAT long   >3

Btw…do you think the story gone to fast? I just don’t want to write a loooong story. I got bored!
