Title: Part Of Me- the erilogue ( no it's not a typo)
Pairing: RyoDa
Warning!: a really sweet-fluffy-tooth-decaying-fic. Mind your blood sugar level!
It was not until two years later that Ueda was finally pregnant again (yes, it actually took that long for Shia to remember the spell again). He was supposed to be happy when the doctor informed him about his pregnancy, but on the contrary he was confused. Confused as to whether or not he should be happy and tell Ryo about the news they have been waiting for so long or should he tell Shia to undo the spell before she forgot again how to undo it. It was not because Ueda wasn’t happy that he was pregnant, he was. But he just couldn’t help to think what if Ryo found out that their plan had succeeded and he would stop having sex with him? Ueda thought that the only reason Ryo had sex with him, almost everyday, was just because he wanted to have another child with him.
Ueda carried the sleeping Ryu and put him carefully on to his bed. He brushed a strand of hair that was coffering his angelic face, kissing him goodnight before pulling up the blanket to cover him. He caressed his son’s check lovingly and just smiled adoring the that cute face that had always brought joy to his heart, after a long hours of tiring rehearsal, endless photo shoots and exhausting Cartoon KAT-TUN shooting.
Suddenly he felt a puff of air on his right ear as a voice whispered on to it, sending shiver down to his spine. “Tadaima,” Ryo said before he licked Ueda’s ear gently, causing Ueda to sighed in content.
“Damn you Ryo! You almost caused me a heart attack!” Ueda tried to sound angry but he knew he failed as he smiled instead and said “Okaeri.”
“You should keep your voice down princess, Ryu is sleeping.” Ryo shushed him with a kiss.
---
“What do you mean you just picked up Ryu? I thought your practice was over hours ago?” Ryo said when they both reached their bedroom.
“It was but-” Ueda didn’t manage to finish as Ryo cut him in the middle of his sentence.
“Did you go out somewhere after that?”
“Yes I did, I-” Ryo cut him again.
“Geezz princess that’s very irresponsible of you! I thought we have agreed that whoever finishes work first must pick Ryu up and spend time with him. You know we didn’t get to meet him a lot and he needs all the attention he can get. I don’t want him to grow without the love and attention from his parents. It’s hard enough we both have to work and he has to spend most of his day in either your parent’s or your sister’s house. And now you’re telling me that you rather go out with your friend and have fun, than to play and spend time with your son? I can’t believe you Ueda!” Ryo said in a mouthful.
“But Ryo that’s not-”
“Don’t try to make any excuse Ueda!” he shouted, feeling very angry and disappointed.
“I was trying to make excuses damnit! If you would stop bickering for a one freaking moment you would know that what I was trying to say was that I didn’t pick up Ryu earlier and went somewhere instead was because I went to the hospital and if you just listen to me you’ll know that I’m pregnant!”
“What?”
Ueda sighed, exhausted from blurting out everything in a single breath. “Yes Ryo, I’m finally pregnant again.” He confirmed.
Ryo was overjoyed to say anything and just grabbed Ueda and kissed him senselessly, and Ueda more than happy to kiss back.
----
It wasn’t that hard for the others to find out about his pregnancy, especially when in a typical morning Ueda suddenly rushed trough the rehearsal room to the bathroom, coming back looking all green, crying hysterically when Koki step in to his feet accidentally, and yelled at his stylist for putting the wrong gel to his perfect hair. They knew he was pregnant.
Ueda didn’t really enjoy being pregnant again. He hated feeling like shit. His stomach ached like hell, he hated the severe headache, the unfit jeans and the growing belly. But one thing he knew he would love being pregnant, was the fact the he could torture Ryo again. Oh how Ueda love to make Ryo run down from the jimusho building to a 10 blocks away convenience store to get him a bear-shaped lollipop. And one thing he loved the most, is how sexy a panting Ryo looked like.
----
On his 4th month of pregnancy Johnny gave him a hiatus. When he learned that Ueda was pregnant again, the old man just facepalmed himself and quickly called his secretary to get him aspirin and dialed all the connection he could get to take care of things. And Ueda couldn’t be more relieved.
Ueda was happy he could spend more time with Ryu at home now that he didn’t have to go to work for at least a few months. Ryu was beyond happy when he found out that he was going to have a little sister. Ryo told him that the baby inside his mommy’s tummy is a girl, and her name is Eri. Ueda beamed at Ryo and gave him a nudge “What? It IS a girl! I knew it and I’m sure this time” he reasoned and Ueda just sighed.
Ryu had a habit just like his father. He liked to kiss Ueda’s round belly and talked to his unborn little sister. “Mommy, when will Eri coming out?” Ryu asked with his cute little expression that made Ueda’s heart filled with bliss.
“In a few months sweetheart.” Ueda answered with a smile
“I cant wait!” Ryu said happily.
---
When Ueda was in his 9th month, only a few days left to his labor day, Ryo was home earlier. He opened the door to Ueda’s apartment and when he was about to greet him, he stopped as he saw view that made him slime. Ueda was sitting on the couch, reading a story, with Ryu sitting on his laps, head leaned to Ueda’s chest, and Ueda’s hand was brushing his son’s hair lovingly.
“Daddy!” Ryu exclaimed when he noticed Ryo was standing by the doorway.
“Tadaima.”
“Okaeri.” Ueda greeted back and Ryu climbed down from his lap and ran to hug his father.
Ryo kneeled down so that he was eye-leveled with his son and kissed him on the forehead. “Have you being a good boy today?”
Ryu nodded. “Yes! I always have!”
Ryo smiled and ruffled his son’s hair. “Good, now can you ask your mommy to pack your things because tonight you are going to sleep at grandma’s house.”
“Really?” Ryu asked excitingly and Ryo nodded. “Yey! I missed grandma!”
Ueda was confused. “Grandma? What do you mean?”
Ryo approached Ueda and gave him a light peck on the cheek. “I mean he is going to sleep over at your parent’s house tonight.”
“But why?”
“Because you and me have a place to visit tonight.” Ryo answered. “Just prepare Ryu’s stuff now and get dress, I’ll be back as soon as I’ve dropped Ryu to your parent’s house.”
Ueda helped Ryu to prepare his things, still confused about Ryo’s plan. He kissed his son goodbye before Ryo took their little child by the hand and left him bewilderedly. Ueda furrowed his eyebrows to think, that was when he remembered something. How could he forget? It’s Ryos’ birthday today! And Ryo is going to take him out to celebrate.
He was panicked. He didn’t prepare any present for Ryo.
A few hours later Ryo came back and Ueda was dressed, ready to go out with him. “Ready princess?”
Ueda nodded. “Where are you taking me?”
“Dinner.” Ryo answered simply.
“Which restaurant?”
“You’ll see.”
Ryo drove his car outside the building. Ueda noticed that Ryo didn’t take him to Shibuya, or Roppongi, or any place in downtown Tokyo where they usually have famous restaurants. Maybe Ryo want to take me to some place new, he thought.
He was confused when suddenly Ryo’s car enter a housing neighborhood. Which restaurant does Ryo want to take me exactly?. He looked at his surroundings and he could only see houses, big traditional and modern houses along the way.
“What is this place?” he asked as he couldn’t stand being confused.
“Nice is it? It’s a good environment for a family to live.”
Ueda just nodded in agreement not exactly knew what Ryo had meant by that. But he had to admit that the environment indeed peaceful and nice. It was already dark but he could still picture what the neighborhood would look like during day time.
Ryo’s car stopped. He blinked several times when he looked his surrounding and found no restaurants what so ever. “Where’s the restaurant?”
“Who says anything about restaurant?” Ryo smirked. “Come on!” Ryo took Ueda’s hand and guided him out from the car. They walked a few meters from were Ryo had parked his car.
With a happy smile adorning his face, Ryo stopped in front of a house and Ueda winced as he realized where Ryo had taken him. “What is this? Are you taking me to have dinner in a haunted house?”
“It’s not haunted!” Ryo retorted. “Well not that I know of,” Ryo turned on his flash light, beamed the limited light to the dark house so that Ueda could see better.
“Just look at it and picture it without the cobweb, the peeled paint, the messy ruins, It’s actually a beautiful house. And it’s a good environment to raise children too, look the front yard! It’s large. Ryu and Eri could play here without having to go to the street or the park.” Ryo explained enthusiastically.
“What are you saying?” Ueda glared at Ryo, he didn’t like the way this conversation was going.
“I’m saying that we should move here!” Ryo confirmed.
“What? In this haunted house??”
“It’s not haunted!” Ryo retorted again. ” Just….just come in side, you’ll see how nice the house is!” Ryo said before he grabbed Ueda’s wrist and dragged him inside the house.
“And what about the ghosts? Are they nice too?” Ueda mumbled.
Ryo took Ueda inside and started to tour Ueda around the house. “This is the living room” he said when they reached the spacious room not far from the front door. “It even has a fireplace!” He said and pointed the light to the fireplace. “Or whatever remained from it. But we could always fix it.” He grinned when he saw Ueda rolled his eyes.
“And this is the kitchen. It’s a very spacious kitchen. I can so totally enjoy my time here. Oh and you could cook too!” Ryo continued as he their reached the so called kitchen.
“Take a look at the stairs, is not too steep, so it’s not too dangerous for Ryu and Eri.” Ryo said as he guided Ueda upstairs.
“This is Ryu’s and Eri’s room next to each other. And that is an extra room incase we want to have another baby.” Ryo grinned and Ueda shot his death glare again.
“So? What do you think?” Ryo asked when the went downstairs again.
“About what?”
“About the house you moron!”
“You mean other than creepy?” Ryo pouted at Ueda’s comment. “It’s nice. But you really need to a lot of work” Ueda continued and Ryo smiled happily. “A LOT of work!” he added.
“Yeah I know,” Ryo agreed. “But wait, you haven’t seen the best part yet.” Ryo grabbed Ueda’s hand again and guided him to the last part of the house. “This is the best part of the house.” Ryo opened the door slowly and Ueda gasped. “Our room.” Ryo added. “It’s huge right? And the bathroom is big, you have to see the bath room, it is way bigger than your bathroom, we could even put Jacuzzi in there!” Ryo said excitedly. But Ueda didn’t say a word, his eyes was still set on the center of the room.
“Ryo…” Ueda whispered, his mouth hung open trying to say something but he was unable to form any appropriate word.
Ryo noticed and a smirk grew on his lips. “Oh yeah, I forgot. I’ve prepared dinner for us,” Ryo said pretending to forget the obvious dinner set he had prepared. In the middle of the room lies a carpet, complete with dinner plates, wine and candles everywhere to illuminate and gave a romantic effect to the dark room.
“We are going to have dinner in a haunted house?” Ueda finally woke up from his gaze and stared at Ryo whose expression changed from grinning to pouting.
“How many times do I have to tell you, it’s not haunted!” Ryo protested again. “And incase you didn’t know it’s called romantic candle light dinner princess!” Ryo snorted.
“Come on!” Ryo guided Ueda to the dinner set. Ueda sat down on the carpet and his eyes couldn’t stop staring at Ryo who was busy preparing the dinner.
“So, do you like it? The house I mean” Ryo asked again as he served the dinner on Ueda’s plate.
“Yes I do,” Ueda answered with a smile.
“Then you agree to move?” Ryo asked, full of hope.
“Maybe,”
“Good, we move as soon as Eri is born!” Ryo said excitingly. “So let’s celebrate!” Ryo lifted the bottle of wine, popped it open and poured the liquid to the glasses. “To our new house!” Ryo said as he lifted his glass.
Ueda nodded and lifted his glass too. “To the creepy house!” he said and Ryo pouted again. “And happy birthday to you!” Ueda added.
“Oh you DO remember?”
“Yes I did Ryo,” Ueda half lied, the truth was he didn’t remember until a few hours ago.
“Then happy birthday to me!” Ryo lifted his glass again, and Ueda smiled lifting his glass too.
“So where’s my present?”
“Well….that…”
“I knew it, you DID forget.” Ryo said disappointedly.
“Okay, I did,” Ueda admitted. “I’m sorry. I’ll make it up to you.” He said apologetically.
“How?”
“I will do whatever you ask me to do.”
“Really?”
“Really.”
“Anything?” A smirk grew on Ryo’s lips.
“Somehow I regretted saying that,” Ueda said and Ryo raised his eyebrow. “Okay, really.” Ueda said helplessly.
“Good, cause I do have something to ask you.”
“I hope it’s not something kinky.”
“Oh come on you love it when I’m being kinky!” Ueda rolled his eyes. “Don’t worry it’s not.” Ryo assured “Although I wouldn’t mind if it comes as a bonus.” He smiled pervetedly and Ueda rolled his eyes egain..
Ryo slowly took something out from the pocket of his jacket. And Ueda was taken by surprise once again as he realized what kind of box it was.
“I want to ask you to marry me.” Ryo asked as he opened the box.
Ueda’s mouth left hang open, unable to find a word to say. Ryo’s word had taken him by surprise. He thought about what had happened between them these past two years. Sure they had been living together, raising a cute little boy, had sex like a normal couple, all the life a family could have. But he knew one thing is missing. When he started to missed Ryo’s presence, when he felt happy for the attention Ryo gave, when he knew he had grown feeling for the younger man, and when he hoped the other would return his feeling, he knew he needed more. Sure they had sex almost everyday, but words of love were never exchange between them.
“I don’t want you to marry me because it’s a right thing to do Ryo. We have Ryu and now we are about to have another baby. But that doesn’t mean we have to be married Ryo. I don’t want you to feel obliged to marry me.”
Ryo couldn’t believe that was Ueda thought about his intention. “If I feel that way, wouldn’t I asked you to marry me the first time I knew you were pregnant with Ryu? Or the moment Ryu was born?” Ryo crawled closer to Ueda and lifted the older man’s chin to look at him. “I’m not asking you to marry me because I have to Ueda.”
“Then why?”
“Sometimes you are more stupid than Jin,” Ryo smiled. “I want you to marry me because I love you,” He kissed Ueda gently. “And I can’t picture anyone else to spend the rest of my life with and raise my children with.”
Ueda didn’t know what to say. He rewind what Ryo had said in his head, and he knew he didn’t misinterpret it when Ryo said that he loved him. Ryo finally returned his feeling, and Ueda was too happy to say anything. So he leaned closer and kissed Ryo instead.
” I’ll take that as a yes,” Ryo said as they broke the kiss. Ueda smiled and captured Ryo’s lips again. Ueda put his hand around Ryo’s neck and he bit on Ryo’s lower lip. The Osakan gasped and Ueda smirked before he took the chance to slip his tongue inside the other's mouth. Ryo slowly guided Ueda to lie down on the carpet. Ueda didn’t know when did Ryo manage to put aside all the plates and glasses, but he couldn’t care less. Ryo trailed kisses on Ueda’s face down to his jaw line, his neck. Planted love bites all over his neck. He lifted Ueda’s shirt and kissed Ueda’s chest, nibbling, sucking and licking Ueda’s nipples, causing Ueda to moan in pleasure. But suddenly,
“Arrgh!! My stomach!”
Ryo looked up to the ceiling. “Why? Why? Why? Why does it always have to happen at the time like this???”
----
Ueda slowly opened his eyes and adjusted the light of the hospital room. When he turned his head to his left, he saw the most beautiful view of his life. Ryo was sitting in a chair right beside his bed and was holding a little baby in his arms and he greeted Ueda with a smile.
“Hey,”
“Hey,” Ueda turned his gaze to the baby in Ryo’s arm. “Is that…?”
Ryo nodded. “Princess, meet your daughter Eri.”
Ueda took the baby in to his hand and played with her little finger “Ryo she is so beautiful. She is like an angel.”
Ryo agreed and sat beside Ueda to caress his baby. “I told you we would have a baby girl.”
Ueda just nodded and smiled. He leaned to Ryo’s shoulder as Ryo began to sing to their baby.
“Ne, Princess..”
“Hmm?”
“I’m glad KAT-TUN decided to drink with Kanjani, I’m glad your fairy is stupid and forgetful, and I’m really really really glad we were drunk.”
Ueda smiled and gave Ryo a light kiss on the cheek. “I’m glad that you love me.”
“I’m glad you love me back,” Ryo said as he kissed Ueda back on the forehead.
