Today was definitely a good day for Ueda. For the first time in his life he survived one whole rehearsal period without being yelled at by their manager. The photo shoot went on smoothly, his poses were perfect, showing his best features, and he was very satisfied with the result. Cartoon KAT-TUN recording was a blast, he managed to crack some joke which he is sure will crack up the audience later. The bottom line is, he was at his best performance that day, and that sure made him happy. But what really made him happy was the fact that that day was a special day for him.
“What are you smiling like an idiot for donkey?” came the voice he was so familiar with. He was supposed to be alone in the dressing room, the other members were having a late lunch, so why would the shorter man be doing here when he wasn’t even a member of the band whose name was written on the door.
“Ryo-chan! Stop being mean to Uebo,” another familiar voice was heard. Okay, so Ryo wasn’t alone. Ueda turned his head to find his band mate and his ‘enemy’ standing by the door.
“Just hurry up and grab your wallet Bakanishi! I’m hungry already,” Ryo ordered his best friend, and Jin strolled across the room to look for the item
“I can’t find it” he said as he lifted the cushions off the couch one by one.
“What do you mean you can’t find it?” Ryo glared at his friend.
“I lost it! I forgot where I put it!”
“Well go search you idiot,” Ryo snapped, he was really getting impatient. “Maybe fish lips here knows something. Did you take Jin’s wallet, princess? I thought you’re rich. I never thought rich people could steel someone else’s wallet. Unless, other than your loads of psychological issues, kleptomania is one of them.”
“Shut up, Nishikido! I didn’t take Jin’s wallet!” Ueda retorted. Ryo was being an unbearable prick again. So much for a perfect day, he grunted under his breath. Ryo kept throwing insults to him, but he just didn’t listen. He kept humming his new solo in his mind; humming was always a good way to block his ears from hearing Ryo’s unpleasant comments.
“I found it!” Jin happily waved the wallet he found. “It was under the couch,” Jin grinned at his own stupidity.
“Come on! I don’t have all day. I have a train to catch,” Ryo commanded.
“Y-you’re going?” Ueda asked after he heard what Ryo was implying
“Yeah, I’m going to Osaka. I have tons of work to be done tomorrow. Afraid you’ll miss me princess?” he smirked.
“No, I’m just making sure that I heard it correctly, that one of the things I loathed in this life time is finally gone,” Ueda rolled his eyes in annoyance.
“Will you two stop bickering already? I thought you said you’re hungry Ryo-chan. Come on!” Jin said as he grabbed Ryo’s hand, dragging him out of the room. “Are you sure you don’t wanna come with us, Uebo?” he glanced one last time to his friend, asking him to tag along.
“No thanks. I’d rather starve than eat with that monkey in front of me.”
“Who are you calling a monkey you donkey-” Before Ryo could finish his retort, Jin quickly dragged him out and closed the door behind him.
Ueda sighed.
So you’re leaving tonight.
----------------------------------------
Their work finished a little bit late that night. After they were done packing, the KAT-TUN members bid each other good bye and headed home to their respective dwellings.
“Aren’t you going home, Ueda?” Maru was the last one in the room with Ueda
“Yeah, I will, but maybe later. I’m a bit tired, I’ll just rest for 10 minutes, so I can have my strength back and can drive without falling asleep on the steering wheel,” Ueda answered.
“Okay then. You be careful. See you tomorrow!”
“Yeah, see you tomorrow.”
But he didn’t take a 10 minute rest that night. After he finished packing, he walked out of the dressing room and headed to the stairway. He took the stairs to the roof top, smiling as he arrived at that special place and saw the night sky so bright above him. Ueda sighed as he remembered what had happened there, on the same spot he was standing, one year ago.
“Trying to kill yourself again, princess?” A hoarse yet gentle voice snapped him out of his thoughts.
“Ryo?” he turned to see the younger man standing not too far from him. “I thought you’re on the train to Osaka.”
“Yeah, well I have to sit with Hina and he snores,” Ryo walked closer. “So I thought I might take the last train later…alone,” he smiled and stopped a few steps away from the other man. Ueda returned the smile.
“Right,” he turned his body again and looked at the sky. “The sky is beautiful Ryo, the same sky as one year ago.”
Ryo wrapped his arms around his princess. “But still, not as beautiful as you.”
Ueda chuckled at Ryo’s sentence. “Cheesy, aren’t we?”
“Nope,” Ryo replied. “Just plain romantic,” Ryo whispered and Ueda felt a puff of warm air brush against his skin, his heart was beating faster and he could felt Ryo’s hand roaming underneath his shirt. Ueda closed his eyes and enjoyed every touch that his boyfriend gave him. He was glad that even though Ryo was busy and was supposed to be on his way to Osaka, Ryo didn’t forget about their anniversary and Ueda knew that he should treasure every second of Ryo’s presence.
Ryo blew a puff of air in Ueda’s ear that made his lover tremble, oh how Ryo loved to tease the older boy, he smirked when he heard Ueda whisper his name “Ryo…”
Ryo slowly turned the older boy around to face him. He caressed Ueda’s cheek and felt the cold skin against his hand and he wondered how a person could be this beautiful. He smiled while moving some strands of hair behind his lover’s ears. Ryo leaned closer, finally closing the distance between them, and gently stroked his tongue against Ueda’s lips, earning a moan from him. Ryo smirked at the opportunity to slip his tongue in and savored every inch of his lover’s mouth. It didn’t take long for Ueda to respond to the kiss and soon the tongue battle started. Ryo broke the kiss only to smirk and Ueda could sense his boyfriend is up to something. “What do you have in mind Nishikido?” he asked incredulously.
“What do you think? We only have a couple of hours before my next train,” Ryo said before capturing Ueda’s lips once again and this time more passionately and hungrily.
Ryo’s hands slipped under Ueda’s shirt, and lifted it up. His hand ghosted on Ueda’s torso, caressing the soft bare skin. Ryo slowly pulled away his lips from Ueda’s and now he was throwing butterfly kisses along Ueda’s face and down his jaw and neck. He could feel Ueda’s breath quicken and the older boy tugged at his hair to pull him closer. Ryo carefully guided Ueda to lie on the cold concrete floor, using Ueda’s shirt as a mattress to minimize contact with the cold floor.
Ryo’s hand wandered all over Ueda’s body, caressing and giving them warmth to replace the cold air. Ueda helped Ryo take his shirt off, and now the two boys could feel their skin brushing against each other. Ryo lowered his kisses down further until he was met with the bulge in Ueda’s jeans. He looked up to see Ueda’s expression and smirked as he saw the older boy closing his eyes in anticipation. He resumed his task of undoing the tight jeans and freeing Ueda. Ryo began his teasing with licking the tip of Ueda’s length, making the boy moan and Ryo continued to taste every inch of Ueda’s member. And when he was sure it was hard enough, he took Ueda whole into his mouth. Ryo moved his mouth up and down along his erection. Ueda could only tug on Ryo’s hair for support, when he felt Ryo’s expert mouth sucking, licking and even gently biting his member and Ryo always knew it would drive Ueda insane. Ryo could feel the grip on his hair gradually becoming stronger and it started to hurt a little. But it didn’t matter to him, as long as he could give the other man heavenly pleasure, even if he had to lose a couple of strands of hair. Ueda found it hard to control the sounds which threatened to escape from his lips and he screamed at the top of his lungs as he felt he was nearing release. With a few hard sucks, Ueda finally gave in and came into Ryo’s mouth.
Ryo licked the splattered liquid and he leaned upwards and pressed a soft kiss on Ueda’s damp forehead. He turned again to look at the beautiful figure beneath him; he smiled and slowly reached for his pocket and took a small blue box out.
“R-ryo…” Ueda knew what kind of box it was.
Ryo slowly opened the box and Ueda could see the silvery, shining object inside it. Ryo took the said object out, and Ueda gasped. It was a silver necklace with a ring attached to it. Ueda was at a loss as to what to say when Ryo gently put the necklace around him.
“Happy anniversary, princess,” Ryo whispered into his ear when he lifted Ueda’s head gently to put the necklace on.
“R-ryo…what is this?”
“What does it look like? It’s a necklace,” Ryo answered matter-of-factly.
“I can see that!” Ueda rolled his eyes. “And this?” he lifted the ring that hung from the necklace’s chain. “What is this?”
“That my princess….” Ryo stopped. He looked into Ueda’s eyes deeply. Ueda could feel his heart beating faster, Ryo never looked at him that way. Not when he was on top of him, half naked.
“…represents my love for you,” Ryo continued.
Ryo caressed Ueda’s cheek lovingly and brushed at a strand of hair which was covering Ueda’s face.
“And I want you to be mine, forever,” he added.
“R-Ryo…” Ueda was at a loss for words. He could feel his heart stop beating. Was Ryo proposing to him?
Ryo leaned in to kiss Ueda and whispered softly against his lips “Will you marry me, princess?”
Yes. Ryo was definitely proposing to him.
Ueda pulled Ryo closer and pressed his lips against his lover’s, stroking his tongue against his lover’s as an answer.
Ryo pulled back only to smirk. “I’ll take that as a yes.”
He pressed his lips on Ueda’s again; pushing his tongue against Ueda’s parted lips and the kiss was heated; passion, lust and love becoming one.
Ryo drew back from the kiss for a brief moment, and in record time, he managed to discard his jeans to join Ueda’s on the floor. He resumed his ministrations, and kissed Ueda lovingly. They both moaned as they felt their erections pressing against each other. Ueda bucked his hips to feel Ryo more and Ryo groaned in satisfaction, feeling how needy Ueda was.
Ryo sneaked a thigh between Ueda’s legs, parting them wider and slipped a hand to Ueda’s inner thigh, gently caressing the milky skin, earning a soft moan from the latter. His hand roamed on Ueda’s thigh, teasing him ever so slowly before discreetly inserting a digit into Ueda’s entrance. Ueda moaned even louder when Ryo added a second digit and did a scissoring motion to prepare him. When the third digit came, Ueda groaned both in pleasure and pain. Ryo took out the lube from his discarded jeans and prepared himself. Ueda’s body trembled in pleasure as he felt Ryo’s thick shaft slowly entering him, he cried out loudly as Ryo thrust deep inside of him. He needed something to support him, but he couldn’t find any, so he wrapped his hand around Ryo’s back and held on to him tightly for support.
Ueda threw his head back as he felt Ryo’s shaft hit that spot deep inside of him, sending jolts of pleasure that surely made him stop breathing. A moment like this was the moment where Ueda wished time would just stop. Him being with Ryo, making love under the night sky, with the shining stars to witness their love. The love that had been discreetly built and carried on throughout the year, without anyone, not even their closest friends, having a slightest clue about their relationship.
Ueda could feel his nails digging into Ryo’s back and he was sure it would leave a mark later on. He couldn’t stop these feelings that aroused within him every time he was alone with Ryo. Far from their friends, Ryo was a loving and gentle lover. Unlike the kind of person Ryo pretended to be every time they were in public, mean and sharp tongue generating insults to torture Ueda in every possible way.
Ueda felt somehow hurt at every insult Ryo gave him everyday, even though he knew Ryo didn’t mean it and he did it just as an act in front of his friends, but he couldn’t help feeling slightly hurt. He always tried to confront Ryo about this. Why should they keep their relationship a secret? Why wouldn’t Ryo tell other people about them? If Ryo loved him like he always said he did, he wouldn’t mind. But after their one year relationship, Ueda never seemed to be able to bring that topic up. Not when every time he had a chance, Ryo would brush it off with sex. And whenever Ryo looked at him with those tender eyes, Ueda couldn’t help but feel something stir inside of him and he couldn’t be mad at Ryo, no matter how hard he tried.
Ueda closed his eyes as he felt Ryo move faster and continued to hit that spot inside of him. A loud moan spilled past Ueda’s lips as he felt Ryo’s hand was now on his own length, stroking gently before gripping it tightly, pumping it as he tried to push the older man to release. Ueda threw his head back as he couldn’t hold it any longer, he was about to come. Ryo knew this gesture and he thrust deeper and faster and soon they both came together.
----------------------------------------
Ueda woke up feeling strange as he realized the cold concrete floor beneath him was replaced by the soft mattress of his own bed. How did Ryo manage to bring him home? He couldn’t remember anything. All he could remember was the beautiful night he spent with Ryo on the rooftop of the Jimusho building.
Ueda smiled as he looked at the necklace around his neck. He was sure it wasn’t a dream now. Ryo did propose to him. All the insecure feelings he felt was now replaced by the happiness Ryo gave him the night before, when he said those sweet words of request.
Will you marry me, princess?
He looked at his mirror and he was sure that nothing could erase the smile which formed on his face that morning. He was about to go to the bathroom when he noticed a note on top of his night stand.
Princess, did you gain weight? You’re a lot heavier than the last time I carried you.
Ueda pouted at Ryo’s comment
Don’t pout! You’ll look uglier than you already are.
He smiled; the younger one knew him too well.
Sorry I didn’t wake you up, but you were sleeping so peacefully. I’m on my way to Osaka now. See you next week!
Love you!
-Ryo-
“Another perfect way to start a perfect day,” he said to himself as he made his way to the bathroom.
----------------------------------------
When he arrived at the Jimusho, he could feel a strange atmosphere in the air. He greeted everyone he passed but they just nodded with a sad expression on their face. Ueda could sense something was wrong, but he couldn’t tell what it was.
And when he arrived at KAT-TUN’s dressing room, his bad feelings were confirmed
“Nakamaru? Where are the others?” he asked as he saw no one but his best friend in the dressing room. He looked at the clock on the wall, and he knew he was late. But he was surprised to find no one but Nakamaru in the room.
“Kame and Jin are in the hospital already, they went together with NEWS. Koki and Junno are still talking to our manager, we will wait for them and then we can go to the hospital together,” Maru answered calmly.
“Hospital? Why? Who’s sick?” Ueda asked in confusion.
“You haven’t heard? Oh right, you just got here.”
Ueda could sense he wouldn’t like Maru’s next sentence.
“Its Nishikido, apparently the train he was on had an accident.”
Ueda could swear his heart had just stopped beating.
